G.W.D. Bookkeeping came from a desire to do better, be better. After spending years being involved with the management and finances of various industries, I found many sets of books, and owners, unsure of what was really going on, and just paying the tax bill at tax time without realizing it could be so much easier. I wanted to bring old time skills, both personality and knowledge, and update them to fit this ever changing time! The software's are amazing and so handy, but knowing the backend is imperative to understanding bookkeeping at its core, and having a solid foundation to continue building my knowledge base. 

I become an extension of yourself. My goal is to work as fluidly with you and your team as possible, or be the stepping stone between going from just yourself to building a team.

My mission is to consistently bring better books, better peace, better support, all to entice your growth, reduce your stress, and increase your profits!

When I am not partaking in bookkeeping work, or the cleaning company, I am being a mama to an amazing little guy and his feline buddy, Belch. We are an avid outdoors family, even in the -30 temps. Hunting, fishing, and loving every day!

  • When should I hire a bookkeeper?
    Most businesses focus on hiring tasks out that will generate more revenue for the business but that isn't always the best place to focus on getting help.   • What if my books are a mess or non-existent?
    No worries! I love a good puzzle! Deep diving into messy books is a huge draw for my interest in this line of work Messy books feel overwhelming and cause anxiety When you bring them to me, I see a puzzle, and I will always figure it out and help you put the pieces of your business back together (or together in the first place..!)
  • Why do I need a bookkeeper if I have a CPA?
    Bookkeeping is more than just taxes! Bookkeeping allows you to maximize write-offs and lower your tax bills But it's still so much more than that! - Provides you with a clear view of your finances - Lets you focus your business strategy and plan for the future - Helps you save and generate more money - Helps you stay prepared in the case of an audit - Catches errors and fraud - Helps you as the business owner stay organized and up to date
  • Do you offer tax remittances?
    Yes, I offer both GST/PST remittances, and can provide year end information for your CPA. I can submit T4 information, prepare T5018s for your sub-contractors
  • Where do you provide services?
    I am based out of Saskatoon but provide remote services to anywhere in Canada. I can provide on-site support within 50kms of Saskatoon, and provide virtual services to anywhere outside that range, including having the ability to remote in if you are using a desktop version of an accounting software. Oh, the world of technology and the connections we can build!
  • Is there a time commitment?
    I ask for 30 days notice, and the same on my end, allowing for a smooth transfer to whoever is next in your journey!
